1. Broach

Internal broaching tools are used to process internal hole surfaces of various contours. The name of the broach is generally determined according to the shape of the hole to be processed, such as round hole broach, square or hexagonal broach, keyway broach, spline broach, etc.

Internal broaches can also process spiral internal splines and internal gears. The hole diameter that the internal broach can process is usually 10-120mm, and under special circumstances it can be processed to 5-400mm. The width of the broaching groove is generally 3-100mm, and the length of the hole is generally not more than 3 times the diameter. Up to 2m long.

External broaches are used to process the outer surfaces of various baking chambers, such as planes, forming surfaces, grooves, complex mortises, tenons, etc. in steam turbines, to replace the milling, planing, grinding and other processing of these parts. It is especially suitable for the surfaces of some parts produced in mass production of automobiles, motorcycles and tractors.

Broaches can be divided into two categories: integral type and combined type (assembly type) according to the mechanism. The center-sized inner broach is made of an integral type, while the large-sized inner broach and most of the outer broaches are often made of a combined type. .

According to the material of the broach teeth, they are divided into: high-speed steel broach and carbide broach.

2. Threading tools

Thread milling cutters are used to machine surface threads on parts and come in many forms.

Depending on the type of thread, its accuracy and production batch size, different methods and threading tools can be used to process threads.

According to different processing methods, thread cutting tools can be divided into two categories: cutting method and rolling processing method.

Thread cutting tools: thread turning tools, taps, die, thread milling cutters, automatic opening and closing thread cutting heads.

Thread rolling processing tools: thread rolling wheel, thread rolling plate.

3. Gear Tools

Gear cutters refer to tools for processing gear tooth shapes.

Depending on the type of gear being machined

Involute gear cutter:

(1) Tools for processing cylindrical gears: such as gear milling cutters, broaches, hobs, gear shaper cutters, gear shaving cutters, etc.;

(2) Worm gear processing tools: such as worm gear hobs, flying knives, worm gear razors, etc.;

(3) Bevel gear processing tools: such as gear planers, bevel gear milling cutters, etc.;

Non-involute tooth profile tools:

Such as cycloid hob, spline hob, sprocket hob, etc.

4. Automatic lines and CNC machine tools

CNC tools have formed three major systems: turning tool system, drilling tool system and boring and milling cutter system.

Turning tools: divided into outer circle, inner hole, external thread, internal thread, grooving, cutting end face, cutting end face ring groove, cutting, etc.

Drilling tools: small holes, short holes, deep holes, tapping, reaming, etc.

Boring tools: divided into rough boring, fine boring and other tools.

Milling tools: face milling, end milling, three-side milling and other cutting tools.

Widely used in: CNC machine tools (CNC), machining centers (MC), flexible manufacturing cells (FMC) and flexible manufacturing (FMS).
